Convert a higher DC supply voltage to the lower voltage required by model railway accessories and electronics with this adjustable LM2596 DC-DC buck converter.
The output voltage can be adjusted to suit compatible devices, making the converter useful where a lower DC voltage is required without adding another mains power supply to the layout.
Supplied with a protective mounting case, it provides a convenient solution for powering suitable lighting, control electronics and other low-voltage layout accessories from an existing DC supply.
Please note: This is a step-down (buck) converter and cannot produce an output voltage higher than its input voltage. Always set and verify the required output voltage before connecting your equipment.
