ACI Model Railways Shipping Policy

Welcome to ACI Model Railways! We strive to provide a seamless and efficient shipping experience for our customers. Please review our shipping policy below.

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
  • You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has shipped.
  • If there are any delays, we will notify you promptly.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
  • Estimated delivery times:
    • Domestic (UK): 2-5 business days
    • International:  Carrier dependant 
  • Expedited shipping options may be available at an additional cost.

For international orders to North America and Canada: Customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, customs fees, and brokerage charges that may be applied by their local customs authorities upon delivery. These charges are separate from shipping costs and are not collected by our store. Import duties and taxes vary by country and are determined by local customs regulations based on the declared value and type of goods.

3. Shipping Carriers

We primarily use Royal Mail and Evri , depending on the destination and shipping method chosen.

5. Lost or Delayed Shipments

  • If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery window, please contact us.
  • If a package is lost in transit, we will assist in filing a claim with the carrier.

6. Damaged or Missing Items

  • If your order arrives damaged or with missing items, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage.
  • We will work with you to resolve the issue by offering a replacement or refund where applicable.

7. Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Orders can only be modified or cancelled before they are shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need changes.
